Have You Ever Made a Wish?A Hannah Book About Self-Acceptance.
"Have You Ever Made a Wish? is a touching story about a little girl named Hannah who feels different from the other children at her school. When her friends ask her to participate in dancing, she is discouraged and avoids her peers. She wishes upon a wish flower that she can be like others. The Author takes the reader on a heartwarming story about acceptance. When Hannah meets her woodland friends, she finds that they have all at one time felt as if they were not good enough. Listening to the stories of her friend's personal experiences, she discovers that “Everyone is different and everyone is good at different things.” Many children have felt this way at some point and time in their lives. Have You Ever Made a Wish? provides the opportunity for families to sit down and explore those feelings. Children will learn through this book that they are not alone. They will discover that they are capable of many things. I highly recommend this book to parents and teachers."

"First, she wished that she wanted to dance but she couldn’t. And the last time she tried she fell into mud. Then, she walked over and saw a wish flower and picked it up from the ground and put it close and said I wish I could dance. Then, when she was done talking, she blew the wish flower. She set the stem down on the ground and walked over to the log and sat down. Then she met her Labrador, bird, and tree friends. They wish they were different too. Then they find out that they are good just the way they are. Everyone is different and it’s ok. I like the book because they are all realizing that they can do something that someone can’t and they should be happy what they can do." -Child age 5

"I love “Bedtime Fairy” because there is a small fairy named Minka. Minka is assigned to help a little girl fall asleep. She does that by playing the imagination game. The girl finally falls asleep and Minka gets an award. Her award is glittery, big, blue wings. Now the little girl is asleep and Minka's dreams of having glitter wings comes true. 😊 I think this book will help kids fall asleep. I loved you book so much and it was SO magical! 😊" -Child age 10
The Adventures of Squirrel and Mouse
"The Adventures of Squirrel and Mouse takes the reader on an adventure with woodland animals who hope to enjoy an orchard filled with fresh apples. However, they come to find themselves in various difficult circumstances. Squirrel and Mouse have different perceptions of the situations. One takes on difficult situations with a more positive attitude while the other takes on a negative view. The Author uses a creative storyline to help children see that if something difficult occurs in your life, you have a choice to handle it with a negative view or a positive one. This book is a great tool to use when helping children see that there will be challenges in life and the best way to take on those challenges is with a positive frame of mind. If you stay positive, then you will be able to overcome the difficult times.”
The Adventures of Squirrel and Mouse” is a wonderful story because it is about two friends, one a Squirrel and the other, a Mouse. The storyline tells me that if you are worried or scared about something, there are two views. One is thinking bad and being negative, and the other one is being happy and staying positive. I enjoyed reading about their adventure. 😊
