She hopes to have books in libraries across the United States. She is passionate about helping kids learn to love reading. That is one of the reasons she started her YouTube channel where she reads out loud to kids. Check it out @MissDanisBookNook.
Since the Pandemic of 2020 hit I have been the caregiver for my Dad who has Alzheimer’s. This first hand experience has made me realize how much caregivers need resources. That is the reason behind the fourth book in my series of Logan and Emily Files. I am determined to spread awareness about the disease and the different avenues that caregivers can get support. I invite any caregiver to my team on myalzteam.com where we support and encourage each other come what may. After the Kickstarter Campaign for PJ’s Perplexing Predicament 50% of the proceeds from that book will be going to Alzheimer’s Association to help with the research and resources for Alzheimer’s Disease.

"Logan and Emily Files: The Disappearing Doodle is the Third Book of the Logan Scott Files Series. This exceptional chapter book takes children right into the world of Logan and Emily. Author D.C. Spaar writes a descriptive storyline that allows the reader to feel as if they can see every detail expressed in the book. She takes you through a mysterious storyline where children are the detectives, and they must find a unique item. At first, Logan appears to be the one to solve the case of the Disappearing Doodle, but there is a nice twist that encourages young girls to take an interest in this book. Character Emily is introduced and quickly becomes a part of the mission.
As you turn the pages, you are eager to see what else may take place. Logan and Emily embark on exciting times. They use mysterious detective gadgets and come across interesting people that help them find a way to solve their case. Not only do they teach one another how to ask their suspects questions, but they also learn how to work together. A page-turner for young readers and a fun book to read to your younger children. I recommend this book to parents and kids!" -School Psychologist
“Logan and Emily Files: The Disappearing Doodle is a suspenseful and mysterious book that has a wonderful storyline! I love how Logan starts solving the case, but then, a girl name Emily, comes into the story. I liked the gadgets they used. The author has to have a big imagination to have thought them up. And in the end, they find the item, it’s not what you think! After reading this book, I will read the other books in the series.” -Child age 10
