Jenelle French's passion is working with kids to help them be the best they can be. Having spent several years as an elementary school counselor, Jenelle's favorite thing is showing kids how to become problem solvers. She started writing books that parents and teachers can use to teach kids how to find their voice.
"Preston’s Positive Thoughts is an excellent book for any age. Many children can let negative thoughts impact their minds, and then they feel as if they cannot succeed. Author, Janelle French, supports the reader with ways to change their negative thoughts into positive ones. With her excellent examples, children will be able to recognize how changing their way of thinking can change the outcome. My favorite line in the story is, "My thoughts affected my feelings, and my feelings affected my actions." The illustrations are beautiful and add depth to the story. As a School Psychologist, I would choose to read Preston's Positive Thoughts during a group or individual counseling session."

"I loved your book because it has a lesson behind it. He thinks he can’t do something but when he thinks he can do it, he can! I think all kids can learn that if you change your negative thoughts and turn them into positive thoughts, then you can do it! It has beautiful images and your story line is terrific! Preston is such a kind and fun character and I think your book is wonderful!" -Child age 10
