“That’s Our Home is a delightful book that carries the reader along with a rhythmic tone while teaching an important lesson. Author Jude Lennon highlights the importance of keeping the beaches clean and provides the reader with tips on how to become green. Children and adults will recognize the concerned tone in the character's voices and their determination to keep their home clean. Once they encounter beachgoers littering, Seagull, Crab, and Starfish triumphantly emphasize to them that it is unsafe to leave their rubbish behind. I highly recommend this book as the illustrations are beautiful and will captivate children and adults. The storyline is necessary and will educate families on how to keep the beaches clean. An exceptional book for classrooms and home libraries!"-School Psychologist
“I really like That’s Our Home because it teaches kids and adults to keep the beaches clean. It was cool that the creatures could talk to the people. The message was nice and the message said to keep the beaches clean and be green. My favorite characters were the Seagull, Crab, and the Starfish. I liked how the people listened to the creatures. Kids will really like this book because the creatures are cute and the words rhyme. And Kids will probably say the message to others.” -Child age 5
